As the fiscal entity for BeTheChange406, the SWMTCH is proud to be a partner in the important work being done in Beaverhead County.
A special thank you to Southwest Montana Community Health Center for their role as fiscal agent for the Be the Change 406 Drug Free Community Grant. Without their generous support, the Beaverhead County DFC grant would not have become a reality.
The role and mission of United Way of Beaverhead County is to support, educate, and promote voluntary nonprofit org anizati ons which provide opportuniti es for community wide delivery of human servicesrelated to current community needs.
Our United Way was established in January of 1990 as an employee giving program by employees of Pfizer (now known as Barretts Minerals, Inc.). The founding members very quickly realized that United Way’s impact would be much broader if opened up to all of Beaverhead County, so it soon became a county wide program.
We strive to be a model for all local non-profits and work hard to make sure every donor and every recipient of our funds have the utmost confidence in our process. Please feel free to contact us if you have any comments about our organization or any of our programs.
